Here is just a suggestion of how your special day could be planned. Of course, you may choose just part of the package below:

• 2.30 p.m Ceremony at Booking Hall - Paignton Steam Railway Station
• 3.30 p.m Depart Paignton Steam Railway for Kingswear and Dartmouth. Aboard the Devon Belle Coach you will be served with Champagne and Canapes whilst enjoying the spectacular coast and the beautiful River Dart.
• 4.05 p.m Arrive in Kingswear. Embark the Dart Explorer to commence cruise.
• 5.00 p.m “Wedding Breakfast” to be served.
• 7.00 p.m “Cutting of cake” and speeches.
• 7.45 p.m Dancing to a band or our resident DJ.
• 10.45 pm Disembark Kingswear for return to Paignton by Riverlink bus.

A day such as the above for 50 guests would cost £4,825-00 and includes:

• Room Hire Fee for Ceremony.
• A spectacular steam train journey from Paignton to Kingswear in our ‘Devon Belle’ observation carriage with sparkling and canapés. 
• Dinner and dancing with our resident DJ aboard our flagship “The Dart Explorer”.
• Wine with dinner and sparkling for toast.
• Bus to return guests to Paignton/Torquay.

Formalities

Once you have selected a date and time for your wedding, you should then contact the Superintendent Registrar at Oldway Mansion, Paignton, TQ3 2TU to make arrangements to formally “Give Notice” and to receive confirmation of their availability for the date and time you have selected.

The fee for the ceremony is paid directly to the Superintendent Registrar.

If you live outside of Torbay area you will need to make an appointment with the Superintendent Registrar in the district in which you live.
